Eastway Baths is a venue and cafe in a 1930s public baths in Hackney, East London, home to live music, club nights, film, exhibitions, workshops and the garden.
We're the venue, cafe and bar inside the old public baths at 80 Eastway. We put on and host gigs, club nights, screenings, exhibitions, workshops and talks, keep a cafe and bar going through the day, and open the building up to the promoters, artists, organisers and neighbours who want to make something happen here. The building is run by Community Sauna Baths, who brought bathing back to it in 2025. Eastway Baths is the cultural and events side of the house.

Music and art sit at the heart of what happens here. The building hosts independent artists, promoters, filmmakers and collectives across live music, electronic music, club culture, film, performance and visual art, each bringing their own scene into the room.
Arlo Parks, Al Wootton, Ben Vince, Heith, Mermaid Chunky, Nyx + Greet, Ancient Hostility, The Long Faces and TRAAMS have all played here, and long-running residents like Giant Steps and Beauty and the Beat have made it a place for dancing as much as listening.
Film has become a regular strand too, with Second Daughter, Yellow Magic Cinema, Kinomad and MicroActs finding a home here, alongside exhibitions and audiovisual work from Femanifesto and AV Assembly. Some nights raise money for charities and causes, using music to bring people together.
Our own monthly live series for experimental and electronic artists presenting new and developing work, and Sunday club nights built around electronic music, bass and soundsystem culture, with longer DJ sets. We'll keep making room for independent film clubs, DIY filmmakers and the promoters and groups who already bring their ideas into the building.
